Frequently Asked Questions
For Corporate Admins
Corporate Give makes managing payroll giving simple. You can set up and modify payroll settings on the employer portal, including your pay cycle and financial year dates.
You can set one or multiple pay cycles for your company and then allocate them to different employees in the Employee Manager area.
For each pay cycle you will need to set the following:
Name the paycycle eg: “Full-time fortnightly”
Select the Pay Cycle frequency. This can be weekly, monthly, fortnightly or quarterly.
“Start Date” (this is the start date of the Start Date of the pay cycle)
“Cut-off date for changes” - we recommend setting this to at least 3-7 days before the payroll start date.
“Payroll Deduction Date” - this is the date when your deductions for payroll and matching will be deducted from your nominated bank account. This date should be after the cut off date for changes and before the start date for your next pay cycle.
Funds are transferred to via the Corporate Give Digital Wallet automatically into the charity account held by our partner and then automatically sent to the individual charities twice per month.
Corporate Give provides intuitive tools for each user role. As a Corporate Give admin, CSR manager and payroll manager, you can manage workplace giving by setting donation matching caps, syncing with payroll cycles, and accessing donation reports to ensure seamless integration with payroll for efficient processing.
Additionally, you may can choose to organise fundraising campaigns through our partner's branded fundraising portal, GoFundraise (learn more).
Not yet, currently the same bank account needs to be used to debit matching and workplace giving donations.
Corporate Give will deduct automatically an amount per employee per pay cycle that aligns to the line items in the Payroll reporting CSV or PDF. There is one line item per employee per cycle. This is automatically direct debited via our payment partner.
The description will read: CORPORATE GIVE next to each debit.
